Established as a family business in 1988, Artisan Display specializes in high quality fixtures, interiors, and historical restorations for a multitude of industries, including healthcare, education, hospitality, and government. Over the years our company has gained acclaim and has earned a distinct certification from the Architectural Woodworkers Institute in premium, custom and quality construction methods. This credential, coupled with our dedication to our employees, customers, community and country has allowed us to become one of the mid-Atlantic region’s most trusted millwork sources.
Prominent projects have become an integral part of our heritage. Along with our business primarily focused in the mid-Atlantic region and along the eastern seaboard, our team has also completed a host of jobs across the U.S.
Carnegie Libraries, New York, New York
Our work is on display at the Carnegie Libraries, the foremost public libraries in New York City. Artisan Display was given the unique opportunity to restore all of the historic millwork in four of these famed institutions. Responsible for the complete restoration of all millwork in the buildings, Artisan Display worked diligently to complete each historic reconstruction. “The Carnegie Libraries are synonymous with New York City and are an essential part of the education of the local community,” said our co-owner, Ted Wassmer. “We knew that this was going to be one of our most important and influential projects to date, and we were up for the challenge.”
Sands Casino Resort, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Our skills were put to the test when we embarked on the multi-million dollar Sands Casino Resort project in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We provided the architectural millwork for the entire 380 room hotel, from the custom cherry paneling in the guest lobby and all base molding throughout. In addition we provided millwork for two of the Sands Casino popular attractions: The Paiza Club — the high limit table games parlor, and Emeril’s Italian Table — famed chef Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant at the Sands.
Helping us complete these challenging projects and a host of others is the state-of-the-art millwork technology that we employ in our 35,000 square foot facility. Utilizing CNC machines and CAD drawing software, both known for their precision and accuracy, we are able to provide clients with unique custom millwork that is completed entirely in-house. All drawing, finishing, laminating, cabinet and case construction, and installation is completed in-house by our highly trained craftsmen. We do not sub-contract any piece of the job. This enables us to have ultimate control over the quality and price-point of each project and allows us to add that unique, custom touch that we are known for.
We know that supplying superior-skilled crews for each job is equally as important as supplying our exceptional products. The training that our employees receive through the Metropolitan Regional Council helps to ensure our level of excellence. With a minimum of four years of unparalleled training, we know that when our craftsmen are called upon to complete a custom project, they possess the most up-to- date skills and techniques. This allows us to give our customers the quality and efficiency that they expect and deserve.
With a dedication to customers and community, and a commitment to providing superior, custom millwork products through modern technology and expert craftsmanship, Artisan Display is a successful part of the local and national millwork fabric and will continue to be for many years to come.
